Alabama football: Live updates from Sabanâs last preseason press conference
The long 2023 offseason is finally almost over for Alabama football. On Wednesday, head coach Nick Saban was scheduled to meet with media members at 5:40 p.m. for the final time ahead of the Crimson Tide’s season opener against Middle Tennessee State.
After Alabama wraps up practice for the week, Saturday’s game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The contest will be aired on the SEC Network.
Questions remain for the Crimson Tide entering Saturday’s game. Saban still hasn’t named a starting quarterback, with Jalen Milroe, Ty Simpson and Tyler Buchner all competing for a job.
In fact, Alabama hasn’t technically named a starter at any position. Saban opted to not release a depth chart before Saturday.
